The Savage Sword Of Conan had two goes at Robert E. Howard's wonderful poem Solomon Kane's Homecoming, and both have their merits.
Virgilio Redondo & Ruby Nebres' version is more beautiful, simultaneously realistic and mythic, while Steve Carr & Al Williamson's update takes more time to tell the tale, and Kane looks the age he should be.
Whichever you prefer, they're both superb evocations of the puritan swordsman's last known adventure.
