Scarred For Life



Just a quick one: I hardly ever plug other people's work ( too busy plugging my own!) but Scarred For Life by Stephen Brotherstone & Dave Lawrence is just too damn good not to talk about.
In it's engaging, chatty 700 plus pages, this weighty tome covers and remembers absolutely everything that scared the crap out of Bronze Age British kids throughout the '70's.
Every fantasy / sci-fi TV show, every terrifying public information film, every horror movie you were too young to legally see, every battered second-hand genre novel your mum threw in the bin, it literally is all here.
And these guys are part of our gang, they love all this stuff just as much as we do.
I can pay Scarred For Life no bigger compliment than that I enjoyed it so much, I REALLY wish I'd written it.
