Sanho Kim's The Old Man's Cat

Here's an absolute masterpiece in panel composition & pacing from Sanho Kim, from Charlton's Ghost Manor. Doesn't matter what the story's about, just marvel how Kim gets speed and movement out of static drawings. I'll grant you, his style may not be for everyone, but boy, could he pace a story. Try not reading this in one minute flat.

  1. I had not seen this story until now, it is one of the many masterpieces that Sanho Kim turned out for Charlton.
Sanho Kim ranks right up there with Ditko.

This tale could be turned into a short for an anthology program, it is that good.

    Thanks for posting this.

  2. I don't know if I'd put him up there with Ditko, but certainly, I think Kim deserves to be better remembered than he is. I think only he and Tom Sutton were given whole issues of the Charlton mystery books to strut their stuff, which says something.
