Howard The Duck: The Night After You Saved The Universe
One of my many all-time favourite issues of Howard The Duck is this one, that consists of no more earth-shaking a plot than Howard succumbing to ennui and insomnia, and going for a midnight stroll around the streets of New York.
Sooner or later, just about every Marvel character did a 'day in the life' type issue, where there were no super-villains to fight, and we got to see what they got up to in their off hours. I guess this is Steve Gerber's version of that, as always, full of humour, paranoia, neurosis and a few universal truths. A quiet masterpiece.
