Spidey And The Cat... Together!

Herein, Spidey teams up with The Cat, one of the all-time great characters who should've been huge, but never really got a fair shake. Gerry Conway falls over himself to try to scribe a right-on, down with the sisters, women's lib type tract and ends up being twice as sexist than if he hadn't bothered, while Jim Mooney seems to think he's drawing a Steve Gerber script, so goes for all-out weirdness in his costume designs and characterization. There's a stereotyped arrogant German, Spidey SHOUTING HIS DIALOGUE!!! every third panel, and a villainess whose motivation is that it's ALL. MEN'S. FAULT!!!!
It is, in short, utter rubbish and completely brilliant, both at the same time.
