The Fantastic Four in: Rumble On Planet 3

Here's the 2nd part of The F.F's adventures in a twisted mirror image world of the '50's, that's at least as much fun as the first part, with handy-dandy plot device The Shaper Of Worlds, walking analogy The War-Head, and a none-too subtle, but obviously heartfelt, statement on racism from Roy the Boy. Buscema & Sinnott are still making it all look ridiculously easy, and this two-parter as a whole gives lie to the idea that there's no good FF between Lee / Kirby and Byrne. Can you dig it?

  1. I wholeheartedly agree Pete. I know I'm biased, but this story and much of the Buscema era were excellent stories and bear re-reading. I didn't realise this issue gave us not one ,but two splash pages until you laid them out:) Beautiful work and such imagination!
